Acoustic Orbit

Refund policy

Last changed 22 October 2026. Plain words on purpose; where they and the law differ, the law wins.

Short version: a full refund, no questions asked, until you activate your key, and for 14 days after you activate it. Activation is the moment you enter the key in the app; it is the one event both of us can see, which is why the window hangs on it and not on installing, since the app installs free.

Before you activate

A pre-order, or a key you bought and never entered in the app, is refundable in full at any time. Mail us or ask Paddle; nothing else is needed.

After you activate

Within 14 days of activating the key, ask and you get a full refund. You do not have to say why. We then disable the key; it stops working at the app's next weekly check, and the two-device free mode keeps working.

How

Write to hello@acousticorbit.com with the mail address you bought with, or use the link in your Paddle receipt. Refunds are made by Paddle to the payment method you used, usually within five to ten business days depending on your bank.

Who you buy from. Our order process is conducted by our online reseller Paddle.com. Paddle.com is the Merchant of Record for all our orders. Paddle provides all customer service inquiries and handles returns. Depending on where you are, the seller on your receipt is Paddle.com Market Limited (London), Paddle.com Inc. (New York) or Paddle.com (Canada) Ltd. (Toronto). Their buyer terms apply to the purchase itself; the software is licensed to you by us under these terms.

Your statutory rights

If you are a consumer in the EU, the EEA or the UK you also have a right to withdraw within 14 days of the purchase under Paddle's buyer terms. Nothing in this policy reduces any right the law gives you where you live.

One rule

Inside the window the refund is unconditional; nothing you did with the key changes that. Separately from refunds, we disable keys that are shared, resold or paid for with a payment that was later reversed, because they are no longer one person's licence. The free two-device mode costs nothing and so has nothing to refund.
